Keep four numbers separate
Show the gross installed price, down payment, sanctioned loan and eligible assistance on different lines. A quotation that shows only ‘price after subsidy’ hides the cash needed before release.
Understand the sequence
Registration and approval come before installation; commissioning and verification come before release. The beneficiary account and prescribed records must be correct. Scheme eligibility and release remain decisions of the competent authority.
Model a delayed-credit case
Compare at least three timelines—expected, delayed and no unconfirmed state top-up. Include EMI or interest during the waiting period and ask how a later subsidy credit will be applied: reduce principal, reduce EMI or shorten tenure.
A simple illustration
For a ₹2,00,000 gross project with ₹78,000 approved assistance, effective cost after receipt is ₹1,22,000 before financing cost. That does not mean only ₹1,22,000 is payable during installation. State assistance, where applicable, should be shown separately.
