Up to ₹1,38,000 in combined solar assistance

₹78,000 central subsidy + ₹60,000 Odisha SFA for eligible household systems of 3 kW and above.

For 1 kW: ₹30,000 + ₹25,000 = ₹55,000. For 2 kW: ₹60,000 + ₹50,000 = ₹1,10,000.

Central subsidy and State Financial Assistance (SFA)

Odisha provides additional SFA of ₹25,000 for 1 kW, ₹50,000 for 2 kW and ₹60,000 for 3 kW and above, as stated in the cited government answer. Combined with central CFA, this gives ₹55,000, ₹1,10,000 and ₹1,38,000 respectively for eligible households. Confirm the current sanction, beneficiary and disbursement conditions before signing.

Start with the electricity supplier

Odisha has four distribution companies: TPCODL, TPNODL, TPWODL and TPSODL. Select the company on the electricity bill; application and local inspection follow that supplier’s process.

Local planning considerations

Coastal Odisha projects need site-specific wind-load and corrosion assessment. Inland projects also need a roof and shading survey. In Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, check surrounding buildings and water-tank shadows before committing to a layout.

What your proposal should include

  • Plant capacity and generation assumptions based on your bill and roof survey.
  • A transparent gross price and separate central subsidy, verified state assistance and financing cash flows.
  • Module and inverter specifications, DCR compliance for subsidy, structure design, earthing and electrical protection.
  • Net-metering responsibilities, inspection steps, warranties, monitoring and maintenance scope.

Prepare for your first consultation

Share a recent electricity bill, your city or district, roof photographs and approximate daytime consumption. If the applicant, property owner and electricity consumer differ, flag that before registration.
